Met onze #DareToEmagine sessies willen wij DROMEN en VERBEELDING terug een volwaardige plaats in de samenleving geven, omdat alle veranderingen met verbeelding starten.

Per sessie nodigen we een boeiende spreker uit. Iemand die een kantelmoment heeft meegemaakt in zijn/haar leven en nu op een andere manier leeft of dingen anders doet. Iemand die ons kan inspireren en onze verbeelding prikkelen. Na de uiteenzetting gaan we met elkaar in dialoog. We ronden de sessie af met een gezamenlijke droomsessie.

 

Op 16 mei is Michel Bauwens onze gast.

 

 

OVER DE SPREKER

Michel Bauwens is cyberfilosoof, medeoprichter van https://p2pfoundation.net en spreekbuis van de P2P beweging. Hij werkt samen met onderzoekers uit de hele wereld om nieuwe kennis te vergaren rond thema's zoals commons/peer-productie, bestuur en eigendom. Kennis die hij vervolgens deelt tijdens lezingen en workshops of in zijn boeken, waaronder: 

• "De Wereld Redden: met peer-to-peer naar een postkapitalistische samenleving" (co-auteur: Jean Lievens);
• "Peer to Peer: the Commons Manifesto" (co-auteurs: Vasilis Kostakis and Alex Pazaitis)
• "P2P Accounting for Planetary Survival" (co-auteur: Alex Pazaitis).

Michel heeft een verfrissende kijk op het verleden en een inspirerende visie voor de toekomst waarin de commons een centrale rol innemen. Hij speelt met feiten en jongleert met nieuwe woorden en concepten. Hij triggert en bezielt.

 

Zin om te ontdekken hoe Michel zijn inzichten in de loop der jaren heeft ontwikkeld en hoe een toekomst gebaseerd op de commons eruit kan zien? The aim of our #DareToEmagine sessions is to to give DREAMING and IMAGINATION the attention they deserve in society, because it's through imagination that all changes are possible.

We invite a different speaker for each of our sessions. Someone who has experienced a tipping point in their life and is now living or doing things differently. Someone who can inspire us and stimulate our imagination. After the presentation we share insights with each other and conclude the event with a joint dreaming session.

On May 16th our guest will be Michel Bauwens.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER 

Michel Bauwens is a cyber philosopher, co-founder of https://p2pfoundation.net and figurehead of the P2P movement. He collaborates with researchers from all over the world to gain new knowledge on topics such as commons / peer production, governance and property. Knowledge that he then shares during lectures and workshops or in his books, including:

• "Saving the World: peer-to-peer towards a post-capitalist society" (co-author: Jean Lievens)
•  "Peer to Peer: the Commons Manifesto" (co-auteurs: Vasilis Kostakis and Alex Pazaitis)
• "P2P Accounting for Planetary Survival" (co-author: Alex Pazaitis).  

Michel has a refreshing look on the past and an inspiring vision for the future in which the commons play a central role. He plays with facts and juggles with new words and concepts. He triggers and inspires.
